Welcome to JCHEM Design

Founded in 2005, JCHEM Design is a chemical engineering consultancy based in the North East of England, and offers consultancy in process evaluation and development, process design and in process modelling, based on over 35 years of experience in process design and R&D in the chemical industry.

JCHEM Design can help evaluate or develop new or existing processes, model and understand the design and performance of plant, and help evaluate options for process routes and energy efficiency. A brief summary of the main areas of expertise and a summary CV can be found here.

In the future, we plan for our website to provide a number of resource pages, most of these relating to aspects of chemical engineering where JCHEM Design has experience, and so should help illustrate the type of chemical engineering problems where JCHEM Design can provide assistance. These pages are currently under construction, but we hope to have them up and running in the near future .

We are also aiming to provide some simple overviews on a number of petrochemical processes, with basic operating data guides.

As part of our overall services package we are also developing our website to enable us to offer some software produced in-house, and will be either free to download or available at a low cost . Generation of specialized design and modelling software is an area where JCHEM Design has considerable experience. Please contact us if you have a potential application - we may be able to help.
